Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are cleared using a scan tool. After repairs are made, clear DTCs following scan tool manufacturers instructions. If a scan tool is not available, DTCs are automatically cleared from memory after 100 drive cycles if no faults are present. A drive cycle occurs each time vehicle is started, then driven at a speed greater than 10 MPH.
