EVAP Canister Vent Valve: Removal

  1. The EVAP canister vent valve is mounted to the right side rear compartment brace, inside right rear wheelhouse. See Figure. Raise support the vehicle. On A/T models, lower the right muffler. See LEFT/RIGHT MUFFLER  under MISCELLANEOUS.
  2. On all models, disconnect the EVAP canister vent valve harness connector. Disconnect the vent hose from the EVAP canister vent valve. Remove the EVAP canister vent valve from the vent bracket. See Figure.
