Accumulator & 2-1 Manual Servo: Installation

  1. Install the manual 2-1 band servo cover gasket into the case. Lubricate the manual 2-1 band servo cover gasket with automatic transaxle fluid. See Figure .
  2. Install the manual 2-1 band servo.
  3. Install the manual 2-1 band servo cover.
  4. Install the manual 2-1 band servo cover bolts. Tighten the bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Install the accumulator. See Figure .
  6. Install the lube oil pipe into the case at the lube hole for the front differential carrier internal gear.
  7. Use a flat-blade tool in order to lock the lube oil pipe retainer into the case.
  8. Install the accumulator bolts. See Figure . Tighten the accumulator attaching bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  9. If removed, install the new filter seal.
  10. Install the filter.
  11. Install the oil pan. See DRAINING & REFILLING  under LUBRICATION.
  12. Lower the vehicle.
