Removal & Installation (Recirculation Door)

  1. Discharge A/C system, using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. Remove engine coolant reservoir. Remove battery from vehicle. Remove accumulator. See ACCUMULATOR . Disconnect refrigerant line from evaporator.
  2. Remove evaporator front cover. See Fig 1. Separate evaporator case halves. Remove recirculation door actuator and linkage. Remove recirculation door. To install, reverse removal procedure.
