Removal & Installation (Air Temperature Door)

  1. Discharge A/C system, using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. Remove engine coolant reservoir. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove accumulator. See ACCUMULATOR . Remove evaporator case cover.
  2. Remove air temperature door actuator and linkage. Remove air temperature door from heater case. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
