Removal Procedure

Important: The sunroof actuator can be replaced with the glass in any position. It contains no limit switches and its drive shaft turns in both directions.

Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT .
Remove the tie strap from the wiring harness.
Remove the screws retaining the sunroof actuator (1).

Disconnect the sunroof actuator harness from the express module harness.

Pull the actuator straight down to disengage the drive gear.
Remove the actuator from the sunroof.
