Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 2.  This step will test for an intermittent condition when testing if the sunroof will slide to the vent position (stopping, due to a soft stop). If the sunroof operates properly to the full vent position, then inspect the sunroof limit switch LS1 for a stuck switch causing an intermittent short to ground.
  2. 4.  Testing for a short to ground in the LS1 limit switch circuit or a stuck limit switch (closed).
