Lock Striker Adjustment - Door (With Mini Wedge)

Tools Required

J 39346-A Mini-Wedge Door Striker Aligner

Important: The door must be properly aligned before adjusting the striker.

Open the door.
Loosen the door striker screws just enough to allow movement of the door striker.

Install the special tool J 39346-A Mini-Wedge Door Striker Aligner.
Important: Do not slam the door.
Close the door while holding the outside handle in the open position.
Open the door.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Tighten the door lock striker screws to 25 N.m (18 ft lbs).
Remove the special tool J 39346-A Mini-Wedge Door Striker Aligner.
Close the door.
