Removal (3.8L)

Remove the bolt and the nut from the right engine mount strut at the right engine mount strut bracket on the engine. See Fig 1 .
Remove the bolt and the nut from the right engine mount strut at the right engine mount strut bracket on the upper radiator support. See Fig 2 .
Remove the engine mount strut.

Inspect the rubber in the engine mount strut for the following conditions:
- Hardness
- Splitting
- Cracking
