Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the silicone seal in the oil manifold plate.

    With a twisting motion, install the end of the oil pump pick-up tube (2).

    CAUTION: Refer toFASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the oil pump pick-up retaining bolt (1) and nut (3).

    Tighten 

    • Tighten the oil pump pick-up tube nut to 24 N.m (18 ft lbs).
    • Tighten the oil pump pick-up tube bolt to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).

  3. Install the engine oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
