Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transaxle assembly. Refer to TRANSAXLE (4T80-E) .

    Important:  Do not reuse the flywheel bolts.

  2. Remove the eight mounting bolts.
  3. Remove the flywheel and the reinforcement.
  4. Clean and inspect the engine flywheel. Refer to ENGINE FLYWHEEL CLEANING AND INSPECTION .
