Heated Oxygen Sensor 2: Removal

- Downstream heated oxygen sensor is located in exhaust pipe behind catalytic converter. See Fig 1 . Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the oxygen sensor harness connector, located in the engine compartment.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Carefully remove the HO2S 2.
CAUTION:
The use of excessive force may damage the threads in the exhaust manifold/pipe.
