Throttle Position Sensor: Removal

The Throttle Position (TP) sensor is located on side of throttle body. See Fig 1.

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
  2. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator.
  4. Disconnect the TP sensor harness connector.
  5. Remove the throttle TP sensor screw.
  6. Remove the TP sensor and seal.
