Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor: Installation

  1. Install the MAP sensor (2) into the intake manifold. See Figure.
  2. Connect the MAP sensor harness connector.
  3. Install the accelerator bracket (2) on the throttle body (1). See Figure. Tighten the accelerator bracket nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Connect the accelerator control cable (3) to the throttle body (4) and accelerator bracket (1). See Figure.
  5. Connect the cruise control cable (2) from the throttle body (3) and accelerator bracket (1). See Figure.
  6. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
