Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (CNG): Installation

- Install the FTP sensor (1) with a NEW "O" ring. Lubricate the "O" ring with petroleum jelly, or equivalent. Tighten the FTP sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the FTP sensor harness connector.
- Connect the HPL power harness connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Start the vehicle. Check for CNG fuel leaks at each serviced fitting using the Combustible Gas Detector (J 45878).
- Install the tank vent boot cover and the nuts. Tighten the tank vent boot cover nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the fuel tank cover. Tighten the fuel tank cover nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
