Crankshaft Position Sensor: Installation

  1. Install CKP sensor (1) into the front cover of the engine block.
  2. Install CKP sensor hold-down bolt (2). Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . See Figure .
  3. Connect CKP sensor harness connector.
  4. Install stone shield (1) and the 4 retainers (2). See Figure .
  5. Install stone shield (1) 2 bolts (3). Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . See Figure .
  6. Lower vehicle.
