Powertrain Mount Balance (Total Mount)

- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Loosen the front mount through bolt. See Figure . DO NOT remove.
- Loosen the rear mount through bolt. See Figure . DO NOT remove.
- Position 2 floor jacks with wood blocks under the engine and transaxle to support the powertrain assembly.
- From the engine compartment, loosen, DO NOT remove the LH mount bolts. See Fig 2 .
- Loosen, DO NOT remove the RH mount bolts. See Fig 1 .
- Reposition the floor jacks to allow a 1/8" gap between the mount and mount bracket.
- Tighten the LH mount starting with the center bolt. See Fig 2 . Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the RH mount starting with the center bolt. See Fig 1 . Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Remove the floor jacks.
- Shake the powertrain vigorously from front to rear and allow the powertrain to settle.
- Tighten the rear mount through bolt. See Figure . Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the front mount through bolt. See Figure . Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Lower the vehicle.
