IPC displays vehicle speed based on information from vehicle speed sensor buffer. Vehicle speed sensor buffer converts analog signal from vehicle speed sensor into a 4000 pulses/mile signal. IPC uses vehicle speed signal circuit from vehicle speed sensor buffer in order to calculate vehicle speed.
