Park Brake Warning

Radio activates park brake audible warning as requested by Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). IPC sends a class 2 message to radio indicating chime frequency of a medium rate and at a continuous duration. Park brake warning sounds and BRAKE indicator illuminates when following occurs:

Ignition switch in RUN position.
Vehicle is not in Park. IPC receives a class 2 message from PCM indicating gear position.
IPC determines that park brake is engaged and signal circuit is low.
