Air Induction Systems: Turbocharger: Installation

1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure no foreign objects are present in intake and exhaust passages to turbocharger. Use high temperature Anti-Seize Compound (GM 1052771) on all threaded fasteners.
2. Complete installation of components. Tighten retaining bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

To install, reverse removal procedure. If installing new turbocharger, pour 4-5 oz. of clean engine oil into turbocharger supply hose opening while slowly rotating impeller. Use NEW gaskets where applicable. Torque all bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
