Circuit Description

Internal fault detection is handled by Driver Information Center (DIC). DTC B0931 will set in non-volatile memory when DIC does not detect compass sensor.

A current DTC B0931 becomes a history DTC if condition for setting DTC is no longer present. A history DTC B0931 will clear after 100 consecutive ignition cycles if condition for setting DTC is no longer present. DTC will also clear when scan tool is used to clear DTCs.
