Air Bag

Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) illuminates air bag indicator when the following occurs: Inflatable Restraint System (SIR) Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) detects a malfunction with SIR system and IPC receives a class 2 message from SDM requesting illumination or IPC performs displays test at start of each ignition cycle flashing air bag indicator 7 times.
