Description & Operation: Indicators/Messages: Abs

Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) illuminates ABS indicator when the following occurs: Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) detects a malfunction with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) and IPC receives a class 2 message from EBCM requesting illumination or IPC performs displays test at start of each ignition cycle illuminating ABS indicator for about 3 seconds.
