Removal & Installation
Disable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Disconnect appropriate front seat SIR module harness connector. Disconnect appropriate front seat pretensioner harness connector. Remove finish cover screws and remove finish cover from seat. Unsnap seat adjuster switch from finish cover and disconnect harness connector to switch. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten finish cover screws to 18 INCH lbs. (2 N.m).
