Driver Information Center: Notes

Driver Information Center (DIC) is located in overhead console. When DIC powers up, it displays all segments on for 2 seconds, DIC then returns to display status it had before power-up condition. In the absence of vehicle communications, a double dash (--) displays in digits section.

There are 2 buttons on the DIC, English/Metric (E/M) button and MODE button. Pressing E/M button changes display units (miles/kilometers). Pressing the MODE button changes modes of operation of DIC. There are seven display modes available:

• Average Fuel Economy
• Average Speed
• Compass/Temperature
• Fuel Used
• Instantaneous Fuel Economy
• Off (No Driver Information Is Displayed In This Mode)
• Trip Range
