Removal (Dual Piston)

  1. Remove 2/3 of brake fluid from master cylinder. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Position "C" clamp onto caliper and tighten until piston bottoms in its bore.
  2. Disconnect brake hose from caliper. Remove caliper guide pins. See Figure. Remove caliper. Remove pads from caliper. Note retainer spring on inner pad (some models) and remove if replacing pads.
