Removal & Installation

  1. Release tension on serpentine belt and remove belt from water pump pulley. Remove water pump bolts, water pump and gasket. Remove dowel pin from engine block.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install NEW "O" rings to water pump and heater outlet line. Install NEW water pump mounting bolts and gasket. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
