Exhaust Manifold: Removal
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove exhaust manifold heat shield. Raise vehicle. Remove exhaust manifold bracket. On models equipped with catalytic converter, remove catalytic converter from exhaust manifold. Remove engine mount-to-front pipe catalytic converter bracket.
- On all models, disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connector, and remove oxygen sensor. Disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold. Remove exhaust manifold bolts and nuts, exhaust manifold and gasket.
