Steering Wheel & Horn Pad: Removal

  1. Ensure front wheels face straight-ahead. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disable air bag system and remove drivers side air bag module. See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG INFLATOR MODULE . Remove steering wheel retaining nut.
  2. Mark steering wheel and shaft for reassembly reference. Using steering wheel puller, remove steering wheel. See Figure.
