DTC C1214: System Relay Contact Or Coil Circuit Open: Diagnosis

  1. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  . Go to next step.
  2. Install scan tool. Turn ignition on. Drive vehicle at a speed greater than 5 MPH then perform an ABS stop. Using scan tool, check for stored DTCs. If DTC resets as a current DTC, replace EBCM and recheck system. If DTC does not reset, perform wiggle test on related connectors and wiring harness. If DTC does not reset, system is okay.
