Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (RWD) , Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (4WD) in Front Suspension.
    4. Fig 1: Splash Shield (15 Series)

  4. Remove the splash shield (15 series).
