Removal Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to SIR CAUTION in Cautions and Notices.

  1. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement in SIR.
  2. Mark the relationship of the steering wheel (1) to the column.
    3. Fig 1: Steering Wheel Nut

  3. Remove the steering wheel and the nut (2).
    4. Fig 2: Identifying J 1859-A

  4. Use the J 1859-A in order to remove the steering wheel from the column.
