Installation Procedure

  1. With the marked relationship references in line, install the steering wheel (1) onto the column.

    Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

  2. Install the steering wheel nut (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the steering wheel nut to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  3. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement in SIR.
