Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Column shift Export)

  1. Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Trim Covers, Shift Lever Seal - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Column Shift) .

  2. Remove the wire harness assembly (1) from the steering column and the wire harness strap (2).
  3. Disconnect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil connector from the turn signal switch assembly connector.

  4. Remove the snap ring (3) from the steering shaft assembly by using snap ring pliers.
  5. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil (2) from the steering shaft assembly.
  6. Remove the wave washer (1) from the steering shaft assembly.
