MULTIFUNCTION Alarm Module Replacement: Installation

NOTE: Use correct fastener in correct location. Replacement fasteners must be correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage fastener. Use correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
  1. Install multifunction alarm module (2) to rear of junction block No. 2 (1).
  2. Connect 2 multifunction alarm module electrical harness connectors
  3. Reposition junction block No. 2 back into position.
  4. Secure junction block with screw.
  5. Install instrument panel driver's side knee bolster trim to instrument panel assembly. Secure trim with 2 bolts. Tighten knee bolster trim bolts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m).
  6. Install left body hinge pillar trim panel.
  7. Connect negative battery cable
