Instrument Cluster Trim Panel - Standard Column: Removal

1. Disable SIR system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINTS SYSTEMS article.
2. Remove lower trim cover screw and 2 lower trim cover screws that are located beneath steering wheel.
3. Remove steering column lower trim cover (6). See Fig 1 .
4. Remove steering column upper trim cover screw (3) and steering column upper trim cover (2). See Fig 2 .
5. Remove 2 instrument panel cluster trim panel retaining screws. See Fig 3 .
6. Disengage 2 lower clips.
7. Gently remove cluster trim panel from instrument panel assembly.
