Fasten Safety Belt Warning

Multifunction alarm module senses driver's side seat belt is not buckled (signal is low). Multifunction alarm module sends a message to instrument cluster requesting illumination of seat belt indicator. Seat belt chime sounds at rate of 50 pulses per minute (slow rate chime) for a duration of approximately 6 seconds. Fasten safety belt warning sounds and seat belt indicator illuminates when ignition switch transitions to ON position and seat belt switch signal to multifunction alarm module is low. If seat belt is buckled when ignition switch is turned to ON position, chime will not sound. If seat belt is buckled while chime is sounding, chime stops.
