Display Test

Certain instrument cluster features are tested when ignition switch is turned to RUN position to verify features are working properly. The following occurs when ignition switch is turned to RUN position:

• Air bag indicator illuminates briefly.
• ABS indicator illuminates briefly.
• MIL stays on until vehicle is started.
• Charge indicator stays on until vehicle is started.
• Seat belt indicator flashes continually until drivers seat belt is fastened.
• Oil pressure indicator stays on until vehicle is started.
