Turn Signals

Radio activates turn signal on audible warning as requested by Body Control Module (BCM). BCM sends a class 2 message to radio indicating chime at a fast rate frequency and a continuous duration. Turn signal on warning sounds when the following occurs:

• Ignition switch is in RUN position.
• BCM detects that turn signal is active for greater than 1.2 km (0.75 mi). BCM calculates distance based on a class 2 message from PCM indicating vehicle speed.
