Ensure that fuel level is in same range as customer concern. For intermittent diagnosis, see INTERMITTENTS in TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES - CARS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Use FUEL LEVEL SPECIFICATIONS  table to verify correct fuel level sending unit readings. FUEL TANK LEVEL REMAINING parameter is available on scan tool in PCM EVAP data list.
