Instrument Cluster Trim Panel: Installation

  1. Connect electrical connector to hazard warning switch.
  2. Connect electrical connector to instrument panel dimmer switch.
  3. Align cluster trim plate tabs to retainers.
  4. Install instrument panel cluster trim plate to instrument panel carrier.
  5. Install screws to instrument panel cluster trim plate. Tighten screws to 2.3 N.m (18 lb in).
  6. Install upper steering column trim cover to steering column.
  7. Install screws to lower steering column trim cover. Tighten screws to 2.3 N.m (18 lb in).
  8. Enable SIR system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
