DTC B0931: Compass Sensor Circuit Malfunction: Description

Internal fault detection is performed by Driver Information Center (DIC). DTC B0931 is set when DIC does not detect compass sensor. This may be due to a faulty sensor or a remote sensor (sunroof only) that is not connected to DIC. When malfunction occurs DTC B0931 is set and stored in non-volatile memory. DTC B0931 will clear and become a history DTC when DIC no longer detects a failure. History DTC B0931 will clear after 100 fault free ignition cycles. B0931 will also clear when DIC receives clear code command from scan tool.
