Solenoids & Solenoid Valves

SOLENOIDS & SOLENOID VALVES LOCATION

Component Location
A/T Shift Lock Control Solenoid In floor console, on automatic transaxle control.
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Next to master cylinder, attached to EBCM.
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Top right side of engine, near center of valve cover. See Figure .
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Vent Solenoid Behind left side of rear fascia splash shield, in wheelwell.
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Top rear of engine, near throttle body. See Figure .
Magnasteer Actuator On top left of steering gear.
Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Inside transaxle.
Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid On right cylinder head, below fuel injector site.
Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid Valve Inside transaxle.
Vacuum Control Assembly (W/ Auto A/C) On right side of heater-A/C module. See Figure .
Vacuum Control Assembly (W/ Man A/C) On right side of heater-A/C module.
