Installation Procedure

  1. Align the rear compartment lid hinge to the alignment marks on the body.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the rear compartment lid hinge to rear quarter panel bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the rear compartment lid hinge to rear quarter panel bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear compartment lid struts. Refer to Strut Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid 
  4. Install the rear compartment lid. Refer to Compartment Lid Replacement - Rear 
  5. Close the rear compartment.
