Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Align the left rear compartment trim panel to the vehicle.
  2. Align the right rear compartment trim panel to the vehicle.
  3. Apply pressure to the left, the right and the rear of the rear compartment trim panel until fully seated.
  4. Install the rear compartment trim panel over the compartment lid lock striker.
  5. Install the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Compartment Sill Plate Replacement - Rear

  6. Install the spare tire cover in the rear compartment.

  7. Install the rear compartment mat to the rear compartment.
  8. If equipped with rear split folding seats, install the rear seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR (NON-FOLDING) or SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR (FOLDING) in Seats.
  9. Position the communication interface module and the bracket in the rear compartment.

  10. Connect the GPS antenna cable by pushing in on the metal sleeve.
  11. Connect the two electrical connectors to the module.
  12. Connect the cellular antenna by pressing in on the square plastic housing.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  13. Install the interface module bracket nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  14. Install the rear compartment convenience net and retainers. Refer to Compartment Convenience Net Replacement - Rear 
  15. Close the rear compartment.
