Removal Procedure

  1. Open the rear compartment.
  2. Place protective coverings over the adjacent body panels.
  3. Use a grease pencil to mark the hinge to the rear compartment lid for proper location at installation.
  4. Remove the wiring harness. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid 
  5. Remove the lock cylinder. Refer to Lock Cylinder Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid 
  6. Remove the rear compartment lid black rubber bumpers.

  7. Remove the rear compartment lid latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid 
  8. Remove the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to Compartment Lid Trim Replacement - Rear 
  9. With an assistant, remove the rear compartment lid hinges to rear compartment lid bolts.
  10. With an assistant, remove the rear compartment lid from the vehicle.
