Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the rocker panel molding to the rocker panel.
  2. Install the push-in retainers to the bottom rocker panel molding slots and into the bottom of the rocker panel.
  3. Using new plastic rivets, install the plastic rivits to the rocker panel molding and into the sill area.
  4. Close the doors.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  5. Install the rocker panel molding to fender screws to the rocker panel molding at the fenders.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the rocker panel molding to fender screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
