Adhesive Body Side Moldings

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The body side moldings, emblems and nameplates are attached to the body panels with adhesive tape. To insure a good replacement of new or old moldings emblems and nameplates, the panel surface should be warm 21-32°C (70-90°F), clean, and free of any wax or oily film. Methods are listed to attach loose molding ends, completely removed moldings and replacement moldings emblem and nameplates.
