Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the antenna extension cable as noted before removal.
    IMPORTANT: Ensure that the cable is secured to the harness at least every 150 mm (6 in) to aid in protecting and routing the cable.
  2. Use electrical tape in order to secure the extension cable along the outside of the wiring harness.
  3. Connect the IP antenna extension cable to the radio. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .

  4. Connect the IP antenna extension cable to the body harness antenna extension cable along the front door hinge pillar.
  5. Install the instrument panel (IP) compartment. Refer to COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - IP
  6. Install the right IP insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT
  7. Install the right carpet.
