Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper .
  2. Remove the rear bumper energy absorber. Refer to Energy Absorber Replacement - Rear .
  3. Support the exhaust system.
  4. Remove the tailpipe to rear bumper impact bar insulators.

  5. Remove the rear bumper impact bar to the body bolts.

  6. Remove the rear bumper impact bar from the body.
